Art Nouveau Metropolitan Sign - one of the few surviving original Paris subway (metro) signs from the year 1900. This one is at the Place du Palais Royal.

The Louvre - I came back this time to go inside, but the entrance line is still very long. Luckily my museum pass let me skip the line.

LOUVRE ENTRANCE LINE

The Louvre - it was also crowded inside. Most of these people are grouped around the Mona Lisa which you can see at the far center behind a safety glass case.

INSIDE THE LOUVRE

The Louvre - Mona Lisa (1506) by Leonardo da Vinci. The most famous painting in the world. I was lucky to get there first and spent about six minutes alone admiring it before a throng of people showed up.

LOUVRE - MONA LISA

The Louvre - The Virgin, the Child, and Saint Anne (1510) by Leonardo da Vinci. The pyramidal structure was copied by many future painters.
